Bhubaneswar, Jan 16: An under-trial prisoner in Jharpada spe-cial jail here died due to severe cardiac arrest Saturday morning.
The deceased, identified as Ravi Dulla, was a resident of Kolkata in West Bengal. According to sources, Dulla was arrested for his alleged involvement in the Nayagarh armoury loot in-cident in 2008.
He spent more than a decade as an under-trial pris-oner in Jharpada special jail hem He suffered a serious cardiac ar-rest while filling up drinking water Saturday morning. The authori-ties immediately rushed him to the Capital hospital where the doc-tors declared him brought-dead.
